About Us

Lawrence has over 40 years’ experience in laboratory testing, management and operation. He has been working for NATA for 17 years and is currently a technical assessor for Life Science testing for NATA. He has extensive knowledge and experience in NATA accreditation (ISO 17025) and auditing.  Prior to working for NATA, Lawrence worked for a number of international companies. Managing one of the most sophisticated waste and environmental testing laboratory for the chemical waste treatment centre in Hong Kong.  He was involved in the design, setup and training of chemists for the treatment centre. The testing laboratory covered a large range of testing areas, including heavy metals analysis by ICP, PCB and PAH testing by GC-ECD and GC-MS, dioxin analysis by HRGC-HRMS, etc.  Prior to that he worked for Dow Chemical Company and in charge of their quality system and production laboratory, industrial hygiene, environmental and hazardous waste testing, and management programs.  As a result, he is very experienced with plastic and petrochemical testing, industrial hygiene testing (dust monitoring, noise measurement, etc.) and hazardous and waste chemical testing and management.
 

Apart from being a third party management systems audit, Fiona’s management systems background extends to several industries ranging from chemical, power generation, power transmission and automotive. Environmental technical aspects includes extensive experience in water and waste management, water sampling and eco-system management. OHS technical aspects includes extensive experience in confined space and working at heights systems, crisis and emergency response and dangerous goods and hazardous substances.
